Harry Palmer

Harry is our Commercial Manager and has over 12 years of working experience ranging from public practice accounting; to investment banking; and ASX 50 corporates. His experience includes financial reporting, capital allocation strategy, business strategy, business partnering, compliance and company integration.

Harry cut his teeth in accounting with UHY Haines Norton – a public practice accountancy firm specialising in tax and business services. He joined the company during his university studies and stayed through to the completion of his Chartered Accountancy diploma. Thereafter he ventured to London and accepted an offer to join Goldman Sachs International. There he worked in the financial accounting division as a Financial Controller for several of their Europe, Middle East and Africa branches. Finally, Harry worked for Cleanaway Waste Management in various capacities as Commercial Business Partner for 4 years.

Harry's experience has provided him with a wealth of knowledge. He has learned how to look at a business through the lens of several key financial metrics, which he says, "provide context to how a business is running and guidance on how to can be improved".

Harry's favourite aspect of the job is understanding ComponentsONLY’s existing capabilities as a business (people, technology, capital) and leveraging these to find solutions to everyday problems.
